SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Curtis Keith Davies of Washington, who 
4passed away on March 29, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies was born on April 7, 1944, in 
6Mayflower, Arizona; his parents were Clordies and Wyoma Mae 
7Ella Hancock Davies; he married Farrell Hartman on August 13, 
81994, in Washington; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies served his country as a member of 
10the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies was self-employed in the financial 
12services industry; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies was a member of the First United 
14Methodist Church and loved his friends in the Adelphian class; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies was preceded in death by his parents 
17and his sister; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Curtis Davies is survived by his wife, Farrell; 
19his children, Camille Mandel, Chris Davies, Curt (Rachael)

1Davies, Cim (Eugene) Collins, John Hallmann, Laura (Jeremy 
2Turner) Hallmann, and Keith Treadwell; his 16 grandchildren; 
3and his 4 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6his family and friends, the passing of Curtis Keith Davies; and 
7be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Curtis Davies as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
