SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gordon L. Cook of Joliet, who passed away 
4on June 17, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was born in Joliet to Joseph and 
6Dolores (nee Prisliski) Cook; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was a member of Painters Local #33 and 
8the Fraternal Order of Eagles; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Gordon Cook was preceded in death by his parents 
10and his sisters, Karen McCauley and Sandy Simmerman; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Gordon Cook is survived by his children, Joseph 
12(Kristin) Cook, Angel (Bobby) Hauert, and Jamie (Nicole) Cook; 
13his grandchildren, Brody and Kaden Cook, Skylar and Jersy 
14Hauert, and Parker Cook; his nieces, nephews, and friends; and 
15his dear friend, Susie Hibbe; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Gordon L. Cook, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
