SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Mary Lou Nelson of Park City, who passed 
4away on June 27, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson was born on May 5, 1940, in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson worked as a cashier at Eagle Foods 
8and retired after 30 years of employment; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson was a member of Women of the 
10Moose; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson enjoyed spending time with family 
12and friends, music, and dancing; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson was preceded in death by her 
14husband, John Nelson; her brother, Robert Martinez; her 
15sisters, Sandy Benn and Alyce Kirkley; and her grandson, Shawn 
16O'Reilly; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Nelson is survived by her sons, Don 
18O'Reilly, Jeff (Lisa) O'Reilly, and Shawn O'Reilly; her 
19daughter, Cheryl O'Reilly Bluma; her 11 grandchildren; her 7

1great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Irene Farrand and Arlene 
2Maze; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5her family and friends, the passing of Mary Lou Nelson; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Mary Lou Nelson as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
