| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Robert Hurley, who passed away on June |
| 4 | | 28, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was born on June 21, 1943, in |
| 6 | | Evergreen Park; he was a resident of rural McHenry County for |
| 7 | | 41 years; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was a member of the Nunda Rural Fire |
| 9 | | Protection District for 26 years, including 14 years as fire |
| 10 | | chief, before retiring; he was also a proud retired member of |
| 11 | | the Chicago Graphic Arts Local 458M; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was the beloved husband of 42 years |
| 13 | | of Joan; the cherished father of Daniel, Ann, Stephanie, and |
| 14 | | Michelle; the devoted grandfather of Tyler, Jacob, Sebastian, |
| 15 | | and Hailey; the loving brother of Dolores Halpin and the late |
| 16 | | Joseph Hurley and Lorraine Walsh; and the fond uncle of many; |
| 17 | | therefore, be it

| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 20 | | his family and friends, the passing of Robert Hurley; and be it |
