SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kenneth M. Schill, who passed away on 
4November 25, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill was born on March 18, 1937, in 
6Chicago; his parents were Maurice and Catherine Schill; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill served his country as a member of 
8the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill was employed by American Airlines 
10for many years; he also served as the building commissioner, 
11park president, and assistant fire chief of the Village of 
12Berkeley; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill was a member of St. Mary Catholic 
14Church in Durand; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill was preceded in death by his 
16parents and his grandchild, Calypso Schill; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Schill is survived by his wife, Gwen 
18Schill; his sons, Tom (Sylvie) Schill, Dan Schill, and Larry 
19(Sharon) Schill; his daughters, Tammy (Joe) Messlein and Tracy

1(Carl) Celestino; his grandchildren, Alexia and Madeline 
2Schill, Bradley Unterberger, Zachary and Morgan Schill, 
3Sammuel Schill, and Benjamin Messlein; and his sister, Evelyn 
4Schill; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
7his family and friends, the passing of Kenneth M. Schill; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Kenneth Schill as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
