SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert J. Barrows of Gurnee, who passed 
4away on July 16, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Barrows was born on August 14, 1925 in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Robert Barrows served his country as a member of 
8the United States Army Air Forces during World War II; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Barrows was preceded in death by his 
10parents, Vincent and Theresa Barrows, and his brother, Leon 
11Barrows; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Barrows is survived by his loving wife, 
13Aldona (Berkiel) Barrows; his children, Lawrence H. 
14Quendenfeld (Sherrie), Karen L. Mihevc (Douglas), and Richard 
15A. Barrows (Tava); his grandchildren, Debra Holtzapple 
16(Bobby), Stacie and Kimmy Quendenfeld, and Kristen and Collin 
17Mihevc; his great-grandchildren, Kevin, Alexis, and Camron; 
18and his siblings, Eileen Smith, Jack Barrows (Mary Ann), Don 
19Barrows (Nancy), Joanne Chase, and Patricia Thiel; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert J. Barrows; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Robert Barrows as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
