SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John Joe O'Flaherty; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, John O'Flaherty was a native of Ardmore, County 
5Waterford, and Kilkerrin and Connemara, County Galway, 
6Ireland; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John O'Flaherty was a longtime member of Local 
8No.4, Laborers International Union; and
 



  
9    WHEREAS, John O'Flaherty was the beloved husband of Peggy 
10(nee Mulkerrin); the loving father of Barbara (Kevin) Donnelly, 
11Mary (Patrick) Udelhofen, Patrick (Jennifer) O'Flaherty, 
12Margaret (Michael) Derrig, and John and Martin; the loving 
13grandfather to Fintan, Claire, Fiona, Sarah, Neil, Grace, John, 
14Daniel, Jack, Kelan, Teagan, Peyton, Flynn, Bowie, Killian, and 
15the late Anna Christine; the dear brother of Anthony and the 
16late Mary, Martin, Michael Coleman, Patrick, Bridgie, and 
17Festus; the beloved brother-in-law to Barbara C. Mulkerrin; and 
18loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
21John Joe O'Flaherty, and extend our sincere condolences to his
