SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John C. Wenzlaff of Wonder Lake, who 
4passed away on August 10, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Wenzlaff was born July 4, 1949 in Chicago; 
6his parents were Helmut P. and Florence (Schult) Wenzlaff; he 
7married Karen M. Walton on February 13, 1971 in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, John Wenzlaff was employed at Matrix IV in 
9Woodstock for over 30 years; he also served with the Wonder 
10Lake Company No. 2 Fire Department for 13 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, John Wenzlaff was a member of the Woodstock Moose 
12since 1992; he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a beloved 
13husband, father, and grandfather; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, John Wenzlaff was preceded in death by his wife, 
15Karen; his father; and his brother, Bruce Wenzlaff; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, John Wenzlaff is survived by his mother, Florence; 
17his children, Regina (James) Millar, Steven (Elise) Rini, and 
18Christopher Rini; his grandchildren, Alexander Millar and 
19Anthony, Samantha, Emily, and Allison Rini; and his siblings, 
20Gary (Brigette) Wenzlaff, Cindy (Michael) Saelinger, and Glen

1Wenzlaff; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of John C. Wenzlaff; and 
5be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of John Wenzlaff as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
