SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Armand J. Rossi of Gurnee, who passed 
4away on August 14, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Armand Rossi was born on September 27, 1925 in 
6Kenosha, Wisconsin; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Armand Rossi served his country as a member of the 
8United States Navy during World War II; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Armand Rossi enjoyed watching and betting on 
10sports and playing his accordion in bands over the last 60 
11years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Armand Rossi was preceded in death by his loving 
13wife, Shirley; his parents, Arturo and Amelia; and his brother, 
14John Rossi; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Armand Rossi is survived by his children, David 
16(Katy) Rossi and Donna Glusic; his grandsons, Chris and Ryan 
17Glusic; and his granddaughter, Natalie Rossi; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Armand J. Rossi; and 
2be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Armand Rossi as an expression of our
