SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Rudolph Morris of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on August 15, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris was born on November 23, 1923 in 
6Waukegan and remained a resident of Waukegan throughout his 
7life; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris served his country as a member of 
9the United States Navy; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris worked at the Smelters Refinery in 
11Waukegan until his retirement; he was also a former caddie and 
12groundskeeper at Knollwood and Onwentsia Country Clubs; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris was preceded in death by his 
14son-in-law, Charles Brown; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Rudolph Morris is survived by his wife, Patricia 
16Morris; his children, Nancy Thomas, David Morris, and Sally 
17Brown; his grandchildren, Claudia, Matthew, Cindy, David, 
18Bobbie Jo, and Kim; and his great-grandchildren, Delaney and 
19Donovan; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Rudolph Morris; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Rudolph Morris as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
