SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Patricia G. Orloff of McHenry, who passed 
4away on September 15, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was born on July 18, 1941 in 
6Breckenridge, Minnesota; her parents were Gordon and Grace (nee 
7Mariam) Williams; she married Michael G. Orloff on April 21, 
81985 in Algonquin; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff worked as a real estate agent 
10since 1981; she began her career with Bruce Realty in 
11Algonquin; she later served as comptroller and as an agent for 
12Harding Real Estate in Woodstock; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was an avid antique collector and 
14a member of the McHenry Garden Club; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff was preceded in death by her 
16daughter, Debra McAllister; her parents; her stepfather, 
17Edward Thennis; and her brother, Richard; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Patricia Orloff is survived by her husband, 
19Michael; her children, Jason (Sindy) Jordahl, Jenifer 
20(William) Adeszko, Linda (Chris) Gibson, and Karen (Ken)

1Siffrar; her 9 grandchildren; her sister, Julie (Dennis) 
2Jerger; and her brother, Warren (Mary) Williams; therefore, be

4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia G. Orloff; 
7and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Patricia Orloff as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
