SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Raymond S. True, who passed away on 
4October 22, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond True was born on June 29, 1934 in Lowell, 
6Massachusetts; his parents were Madeleine (nee Farrell) and the 
7late Sylvester "Dusty" True; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Raymond True served his country with pride as a 
9member of the United States Air Force for many years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Raymond True received his Master of Business 
11Administration from the University of Chicago and was enrolled 
12in the University's Ph.D. program; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Raymond True served as Chairman of the Republican 
14Assembly of Lake County for 12 years; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Raymond True was a collector and "Classic Comics" 
16expert; he was referred to as "The Classics King" by many; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Raymond True was the loving husband of Doreen (nee 
18Jambrosek); the proud father of Stephen (Janet), Richard 
19(Stephanie), and Thomas True; the grandfather of Alison,

1Kathryn, Dustin, Madeleine, Jennifer, Christopher, Cindy, and 
2Emily; and the brother-in-law of Peter, John, Gerald, and 
3James; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Raymond S. True; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Raymond True as an expression of our 
11sympathy.
