SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John Robert "Bob" Bender of Manito, who 
4passed away on November 25, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Bender was born on September 5, 1949 in 
6Pekin; his parents were F.E. "Fritz" and Hazel (nee Waldon) 
7Bender; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, John Bender was a member of Carpenters Local 644 
9in Pekin for many years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, John Bender was preceded in death by his parents; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, John Bender is survived by his sons, Scott (Kim) 
13Bender, Matt (Nikki) Bender, and Andrew Bender; his daughter, 
14Jenn Bender; his grandchildren, Chase, Connor, Nick, Allie, 
15Ian, Nathan, Joseph, Alex, and Alaina Bender; and his sisters, 
16Joy Bender, Bonnie Urish, and LaDonne Snavely; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of John Robert "Bob" 
20Bender; and be it further
