| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Melanie J. (nee Polochi) Benson, who |
| 4 | | passed away on December 11, 2013; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Melanie Benson was born in Joliet on September 8, |
| 6 | | 1941 to Michael and Helen (nee Kaiser) Polochi; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Melanie Benson is survived by her husband of 51 |
| 8 | | years, Joseph Benson; her daughters, Melissa Benson, Monica |
| 9 | | Benson Jasper, and Merritt (Rick) Benson Franco; and her |
| 10 | | grandchildren, Isabelle and Ian Jasper and Owen Franco; |
| 11 | | therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 14 | | Melanie J. Benson, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 16 | | further
