SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Irma Jane Wait of Urbana, who passed away 
4on December 23, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Irma Wait was born on April 25, 1933 in Crittenden 
6Township; she was the daughter of George and Louisa (nee 
7Karcher) Hausman; she married Raymond Dale Wait on August 9, 
81952; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Irma Wait was an avid reader and an active member 
10of St. Patrick's Catholic Church; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Irma Wait was preceded in death by her parents and 
12her brothers, Macian Hausmann, Charles Hausman, and George 
13Hausman; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Irma Wait is survived by her husband, Raymond; her 
15children, Paula Jones, Hope Johnson, Lora (Larry) Dykes, Jeff 
16(Lisa) Wait, Amy (Mike) Todd, David, and Rae (Myron) Witruk; 
17her sisters, Joan Alkire and Paulette Kavadas; her 17 
18grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her 2 great-great 
19grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Irma Jane Wait; and be

6sympathy.
