SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dolores Karlovich of Gurnee, who passed 
4away on December 25, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dolores Karlovich was born on April 23, 1921 in 
6Fargo, North Dakota to August and Viola Fisher; she graduated 
7from Waukegan High School in 1939; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Dolores Karlovich worked for Abbott Laboratories 
9for 15 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dolores Karlovich was a member of The United 
11Methodist Church of Libertyville, the Fraternal Order of the 
12Moose for over 60 years, and active in various organizations in 
13North Chicago; she was also a member of Heather Ridge Ladies 
14golf league for 12 years; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dolores Karlovich was preceded in death by her 
16parents; her son, William S. Levak; and by her husbands, John 
17Karlovich and Peter P. Levak, Sr.; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Dolores Karlovich is survived by her daughters, 
19Sandra Liskey and Donna (Gary) Keene and by her grandchildren, 
20Joshua Keene and Jacob and Ryland Levak; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Dolores Karlovich, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Dolores Karlovich as an expression 
8of our deepest sympathy.
