|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of former Westmont Mayor William Rahn; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, William Rahn served as Mayor of Westmont from 1999 |
| 5 | | until his retirement in 2013; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, William Rahn spent more than 30 years as an |
| 7 | | elected official; he served as a trustee and as a member the |
| 8 | | planning and zoning commission and the cable commission; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, William Rahn was a founding member of the Westmont |
| 10 | | Historical Society and a lifetime member of the Westmont Lions |
| 11 | | Club and Westmont Chamber of Commerce; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, William Rahn is survived by his wife; his 3 |
| 13 | | children; and several grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | former Westmont Mayor William Rahn, and extend our sincere |
| 17 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
| 18 | | him; and be it further
