SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Harry William Stomberski of Herrin, who 
4passed away on November 16, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harry Stomberski was born May 10, 1928 in Freeman 
6Spur; his parents were Stanley and Della (nee Adela Ruginska) 
7Stomberski; he married Dolores Marie Mudick on November 20, 
81949 in Royalton; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Harry Stomberski retired after 30 years of 
10employment from the Fisher Body Division of General Motors in 
11Willow Springs; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Harry Stomberski loved fishing, gardening, 
13tinkering around the house, and following his beloved Chicago 
14Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Harry Stomberski was preceded in death by his 
16parents; his in-laws, Marco and Mary Zekovich; his brothers, 
17Frank and Alex; and his sister, Sophie Murray; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Harry Stomberski is survived by his wife, Dolores; 
19his sons, Bradford (Sandra) and Alan; his daughter, Cynthia; 
20his granddaughter, Michelle; his sister, Irene Howell; his

1sisters-in-law, Helen (Charles) Tolbert and Anne-Marie (E.J.) 
2Legan; his brother-in-law, Robert (Jane) Zekovich; and his many 
3nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Harry William 
7Stomberski; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Harry Stomberski as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
