SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Raymond L. Contratto of Bethalto, who 
4passed away on January 2, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Contratto was born on July 11, 1931 in 
6Carlinville to Matt Contratto and Frances (nee Wassell) 
7Contratto; he served his country in the United States Navy 
8during the Korean conflict; he married Doris J. Long on May 21, 
91960; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Raymond Contratto was a retired real estate 
11broker; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Raymond Contratto was preceded in death by his 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Raymond Contratto is survived by his wife, Doris; 
15his sons, James (Cathy) Contratto and Joe (Melanie) Contratto; 
16and his grandchildren, Anthony Contratto, Jessica Contratto, 
17and Brittany Contratto; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Raymond L. Contratto, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
