SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Donald "Don" W. Wilson, who passed away 
4on December 11, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was born on March 4, 1947 in 
6Springfield; his parents were John T. and Myrtle Hayse Wilson; 
7he married Marilyn Esslinger on January 18, 1965; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson retired from Ameren-CIPS after 25 
9years of service in electrical maintenance; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was a member of South Side Christian 
11Church, the Aqua Sports Club, and the Elks Lodge; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, 
13and wintering in Florida; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, 
15Marilyn; his parents; his sister; his 2 half-brothers; and his 
16half-sister; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Donald Wilson is survived by his daughter, Cathy 
18(Gregg) Formigoni; his son, Ron (Staci) Wilson; his 
19grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Morgan, Whitney, and Zachary;

1his sister, Velma (Don) Claypool; his brothers, Albert 
2(Frances) Wilson, Tom (Diane) Wilson, Bill (Marty) Wilson, and 
3Bob (Theresa) Wilson; and his many nieces, nephews, and 
4cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald "Don" W. 
8Wilson; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Donald Wilson as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
