SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  James D. Miller of McHenry, who passed 
4away on February 4, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Miller was born January 31, 1957 in 
6Sheboygan, Wisconsin; his parents were Jerome W. and Jeanette 
7M. (nee Frank) Miller; he married Victoria K. Friesl on July 
818, 2006 at Shepherd of the Hills Church in McHenry; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Miller attended Kohler High School, 
10Northwestern University, where he played football, and 
11Northern Illinois University; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, James Miller was employed as a physical education 
13teacher, department head, and football, track, and wrestling 
14coach at Cary Grove High School; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Miller enjoyed golf, riding Harley 
16Davidsons, bowling, exercising, skiing, gardening, yoga, 
17riding bikes, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his 
18family and friends; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, James Miller was preceded in death by his father, 
20Jerome; his first wife, Daryl; and his brother, Daniel; and

1    WHEREAS, James Miller is survived by his wife, Vicki; his 
2son, Andrew Miller; his step-children, Gage, Chase, and Lexi 
3Miller; his granddaughter, Adalie Miller; his mother; and his 
4brothers, David (Kathy) Miller and Bill (Cheryl) Miller; 
5therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of James D. Miller; and 
9be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of James Miller as an expression of our 
12sympathy.
