SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
  
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Raymond J. Roberts, who passed away on 
4February 2, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was born on July 13, 1929 in 
6Chicago; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was a graduate of Northwestern 
8University; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Raymond was employed as an executive at Coilcraft 
10Inc. for over 50 years; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Raymond Roberts was the beloved husband of Elyse 
12Meredith for 56 years; the loving father of 2 children; the 
13grandfather of 5; and the great-grandfather of 2; therefore, be 
14it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
17family and friends, mourn the passing of Raymond J. Roberts; 
18and be it further
  
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
