SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Dorothy A. Jerisha, who passed away on 
4February 14, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Jerisha was born on November 19, 1918 in 
6Joliet; she married Anthony F. Jerisha, Sr. on November 15, 
71947; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Dorothy Jerisha worked at American Slovenian 
9Catholic Union (KSKJ) in Joliet for 22 years; following their 
10retirement, she and her husband spent the majority of the year 
11in Sebring, Florida for 23 years; in their later years, they 
12resided in Fitchburg, Wisconsin with their son, John; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dorothy Jerisha enjoyed sports with her family and 
14was an avid reader; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Dorothy Jerisha is preceded in death by her 
16husband, Anthony, Sr.; her parents, Paul and Mary Dolinshek; 
17her sisters, Mary (Hirsch), Margaret (Plankar), and Jean 
18(Pierson); and her brother, Edward Dolinshek; and

  
 
19    WHEREAS, Dorothy Jerisha is survived by her sisters, 
20Francis (Wagner) and Ann (Horvatin); her son, Anthony F.

1Jerisha, Jr. (Deborah); her grandson, Anthony Paul (Lori); her 
2great-grandson, Darin Jerisha; her grandson, Jason; her son, 
3John A. Jerisha, M.D. (Susan); and her grandson, Joshua 
4Jerisha; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Dorothy A. Jerisha; 
8and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Dorothy Jerisha as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
