SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Clarence J. Swiontek, Jr. of Niles; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Clarence Swiontek, Jr. served his country as a 
5member of the United States Marine Corps; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Clarence Swiontek, Jr. worked in the food and 
7beverage industry; he also served as a coach for Edison Park 
8sports teams for more than 10 years and appeared as an extra in 
9over 20 films; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Clarence Swiontek, Jr. was a 57-year member of 
11Saint Juliana Parish; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Clarence Swiontek, Jr. was the beloved husband of 
13the late Patricia J. Swiontek (nee Hurd); the guiding father of 
14Tom (Johanna), Terry (Michael) Mascenic, Tim (Chris), Charlie 
15(Donna), Leo (Demetra), and the late Tracy (Carol Nebehy) 
16Swiontek; the proud grandfather of 13; the great-grandfather of 
177; the dear brother of Syliva (Gene) Syfert, David, Michael, 
18Odessa Swan, the late Thomas, Alice Spitek, and James Swiontek; 
19and the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Clarence J. Swiontek, 
3Jr.; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Clarence Swiontek, Jr. as an 
6expression of our sympathy.
