SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Tony A. Rasche of Moline, who passed away 
4on April 26, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Tony Rasche was born in Moline on February 28, 
61962 to Oliver "Bud" and Joyce (nee Baff) Rasche; he married 
7Cheryl Krantz in Davenport, Iowa on June 4, 1987; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Tony Rasche worked for UnityPoint Health-Trinity 
9Moline for 32 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Tony Rasche was an avid International Harvester 
11Farmall Super C tractor enthusiast, attending many tractor 
12shows and parades with his tractor; he enjoyed camping and 
13Threshers Reunions and spending time with his family, friends, 
14and attending his sons' activities; he also enjoyed spending 
15time with Batman and his beloved dog, Cubbie; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, Tony Rasche is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, 
17Tyler Rasche and Adam Rasche; sisters, Holly Rasche, Nancy 
18(Rod) Lindstrom, Sally (Richard) Krantz, and Sarah (Todd) 
19DeLaRosa; brothers, Michael (Theresa) Rasche and Todd Rasche; 
20and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Tony A. Rasche, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Tony Rasche as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
