SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Patricia M. "Pat" "Manny" Brown of 
4Gurnee, formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on March 31, 
52014; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown was born on August 8, 1939 in 
7Waukegan; she was married for 55 years to her loving husband, 
8Bertram; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown was a graduate of North Chicago 
10High School's Class of 1957; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown worked at Woodland School District 
12as a food server; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown was a member of St. Paul the 
14Apostle Catholic Church and a past member of St. Anastasia 
15Church in Waukegan; she was also a member of the Waukegan Moose 
16Lodge and was always supportive of her family's sports 
17endeavors; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown was preceded in death by her 
19parents, Stanley and Victoria March; and

1    WHEREAS, Patricia Brown is survived by 3 children, Michael 
2Brown, Mark (Marilyn) Brown, and Deborah (Tod) Capko; 
3grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica (fiance, Travis Rentzsch) 
4Capko and Matthew and John Brown; great-grandchildren, Addison 
5Capko and Cayden Doczyk; and brothers, Alex (Judy) March and 
6Stanley (Betty) March; therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia M. "Pat" 
10"Manny" Brown; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Patricia Brown as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
