SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Chad Arthur Matthew Langheim of 
4Farmersville, who passed away on May 2, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was born in Springfield on May 29, 
62014 to William and Kathye (nee Reese) Langheim; he was a 
7long-time resident of Pawnee and married Cherish Hart; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was co-superintendent of schools in 
9the Pawnee School District and the principal at Lincolnwood 
10High School; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was a former women's and men's 
12basketball coach; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, the 
13Chicago Bears, the Illini, and an immense fan of Elvis; he was 
14very involved with being a coach and mentor to his children; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Chad Langheim was preceded in death by a son, 
17Hunter Matthew Langheim; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Chad Langheim is survived by his wife, Cherish; 
19his 4 daughters, Paige Madison, Morgan Nicole, Lakynn Rebecca, 
20and Sophie Cherish Annette; parents, William and Kathye

1Langheim, Sr.; one sister, Rebecca (Josh) Adcock; 2 brothers, 
2William (Maria) Langheim, Jr. and Reese Langheim; several aunts 
3and uncles; one niece, Hanna; 3 nephews, Zack, Austin, and 
4Connor; and several cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Chad Arthur Matthew Langheim, and extend our sincere 
8condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
9him; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable of this resolution be presented 
11to the family of Chad Langheim as an expression of our deepest 
12sympathy.
