SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Richard E. Schuett, who passed away on 
4May 6, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett was born on November 15, 1930 in 
6Chicago and was a Prairie View resident for most of his life; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett served his country with pride as a 
9member of the United States Army, having served in Japan; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett was a retired mechanic at the Ford 
11dealership in Highland Park; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett was an antique car collector and 
13enjoyed restoring Model A Fords; he was a member of the Chain 
14O' Lakes Model A Club and the Model A Ford Club of America; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett was preceded in death by his 
16grandson, Brian Schuett; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Richard Schuett is survived by his wife of 59 
18years, Yukiko Schuett; 6 children, Ronald Schuett, Victor 
19Schuett, Richard Schuett, Linda Schuett, Judith Walker, and

1Kathaleen (Bill) Skrzypczak; 16 grandchildren; and 9 
2great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard E. Schuett; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Richard Schuett as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
