SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dean Renato Miscenic of Beach Park, who 
4passed away on April 30, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dean Miscenic was born on January 20, 1964 in 
6Croatia and had been a resident of the area since 1968; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dean Miscenic, along with his brother,  owned and 
8operated the Aldo Miscenic and Sons Decorating Co., which they 
9took over in 2001; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dean Miscenic was a member of the Hook & Slice 
11Golf League, and active in several pool and softball leagues; 
12he enjoyed fishing and loved to fish the Wisconsin River for 
13walleye; he also enjoyed spending time with his family and 
14friends at his seasonal vacation home on the river in the  
15Wisconsin Dells; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Dean Miscenic is survived by his wife of 22 years, 
17Catherine (nee Koper) Miscenic; sons, Ryan and Matthew 
18Miscenic; parents, Aldo and Nives Miscenic; brother, Scott 
19Miscenic; sister, Michelle (Daniel) Miscenic-Patch, Jr.; 
20sister-in-law, Laura (Ralph) Strathmann; brother-in-law, 
21Michael Koper; nieces and nephews, Danielle Mourer, Camryn

3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Dean Renato Miscenic, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Dean Miscenic as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
