SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lucille H. Becker of Fox Lake, who passed 
4away on June 16, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was born on October 24, 1916 in 
6Chicago; her parents were Victor and Charlotte (nee Dargatz) 
7Sonntag; prior to living in Fox Lake, she was a resident of 
8Hudson, Florida and Chicago; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker and her husband met in church when 
10she was 16; together, they enjoyed their vegetable and flower 
11garden and their time spent in Florida; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was a former member of the Fox Lake 
13Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker enjoyed crocheting and spending 
15time with her family and friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker was preceded in death by her 
17parents and her husband, Edwin J. Becker, Sr.; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Lucille Becker is survived by 3 loving children, 
19Edwin (Karen) Becker, Jr., Richard (Carol) Becker, and David

1(Cheryl) Becker; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Lucille H. Becker; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Lucille Becker as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
