SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  William "Bill" Struna of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on May 25, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Struna was born in Waukegan in 1936 and 
6was a lifelong resident; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, William Struna retired from Outboard Marine 
8Corporation after 46 years of service; he also worked at many 
9part-time jobs; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, William Struna enjoyed playing cards, going to 
11Park Place and the casino, traveling, and spending time with 
12his family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, William Struna was preceded in death by his 
14parents, Albert and Mary (nee Jurick) Struna, and 2 brothers, 
15Albert and John Struna; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, William Struna is survived by his wife, Anita (nee 
17Anastos); 3 children, Jill (Ralph) Heaven, Pamela (Bill) Giles, 
18and Deborah (Randy) Bukantis; 7 grandchildren; 2 
19great-granddaughters; and a sister, Margery Fries; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of William "Bill" Struna; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of William Struna as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
