SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" McLaren of Waukegan, 
4who passed away on July 27, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was born on December 16, 1961 in 
6Waukegan; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was a union carpenter by trade; he 
8was also a caretaker for his mother; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren enjoyed working on his friends' 
10and family's cars, boats, and bicycles, watching NASCAR, and 
11vegetable gardening; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was preceded in death by his 
13father, James McLaren; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren is survived by his mother, Lois 
15McLaren; 3 siblings, Ron (Wendy), Laura Koechel, and Karen 
16Ford; a twin sister, Jenny (Francis) Puntney; and many nieces 
17and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" 
2McLaren; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Jeffrey McLaren as an expression of
