SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of R. Geoffrey "Geoff" Weldon of Crystal 
4Lake, who passed away on July 3, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Geoff Weldon was born in New Haven, Connecticut on 
6January 31, 1960 to Richard and Stephanie Weldon; he was raised 
7in New Jersey, where he attended Montgomery High School; he 
8graduated from Colgate University in 1982;  he married Jill 
9Eltzholtz in 1990 and they lived the majority of their life 
10together in the Crystal Lake area; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Geoff Weldon was Vice-President of Sales for Aptar 
12Beauty and Home, where he worked for 29 years alongside his 
13twin brother and best friend, Gregory; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Geoff Weldon enjoyed traveling, the beach, music, 
15and football Sundays; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Geoff Weldon was preceded in death by his sister, 
17Suzanne Weldon; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Geoff Weldon is survived by his wife, Jill; his 
19children, Logan and Spencer; his twin brother, Gregory; his 
20sister, Malinda Strauss; his parents, Richard and Stephanie

1Weldon; and his nieces and nephews, Gregory, Tyler, Connor, 
2Mackenzie, Courtney, Carleigh, and Jaime; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5R. Geoffrey "Geoff" Weldon, and extend our sincere condolences 
6to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Geoff Weldon as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
