SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Helen Miller of Carlinville, who passed 
4away on August 14, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Miller was born on June 23, 1922 in Shaw's 
6Point Township; her parents were William and Edna Mae (nee 
7Lawrence) Culp; she married Frederick A. Miller on July 9, 
81945; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Helen Miller was a graduate of Carlinville 
10Community High school; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Helen Miller was a homemaker and enjoyed helping 
12on the family farm, gardening, flowers, sewing, cooking, and 
13spending time with her friends and family; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Helen Miller was preceded in death by her husband, 
15Frederick; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Helen Miller is survived by a son, Bill Miller; a 
17sister, Norma Hammann; 2 brothers, Bill (Fern) Culp and Glen 
18(Willie) Culp; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Helen Miller; and be

6sympathy.
