| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Joseph S. Farrell of Chicago; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell graduated from St. Viator High |
| 5 | | School in 1988; he subsequently earned his degree in accounting |
| 6 | | from Marquette University in 1992 and his J.D. from the John |
| 7 | | Marshall Law School in 1995; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell practiced law in Chicago for the |
| 9 | | past 19 years, working at Weiss & Block Chartered, Levenfeld |
| 10 | | Pearlstein, LLC, and Access Group; he was well-known among his |
| 11 | | peers as a well-respected transactional attorney; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell was the beloved husband of Kristen |
| 13 | | (nee Benedict); the adoring father of Caroline, Katlin, and |
| 14 | | Lauren; the dear son of Barbara and the late Neal Farrell; the |
| 15 | | cherished brother of Anne (John) McKay, Susan Farrell, Karen |
| 16 | | (Dave) Regan, and Kathleen (TJ) Perreault; and the fond uncle |
| 17 | | of 3 nieces and 11 nephews; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 20 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph S. Farrell; and |
| 21 | | be it further
