SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert "Bob" L. Sanders of Spring Grove, 
4who passed away on September 18, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Sanders was born on July 7, 1942 in Elgin; 
6his parents were George and Maxine (nee Bolt) Sanders; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Robert Sanders worked as a heavy equipment 
8operator for Paul May and Sons in Spring Grove and Gary Hoehne 
9and Sons in Richmond; he also worked with his father at their 
10family-owned towing company, George's Towing, and proudly 
11served on the Spring Grove Volunteer Fire Department for many 
12years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Sanders is preceded in death by his 
14parents; a daughter, Debra Huff; and a sister, Sandra Londberg; 
15and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Sanders is survived by 2 daughters, 
17Michelle Sanders and Kimberly (James) Schelberger; 7 
18grandchildren, Nicole, Brandon, Kayla, Jessica, Jamie, 
19Brianna, and Marissa; 7 great-grandchildren, Madison, Payton, 
20Wyatt, Mackenzie, Brooklynn, Ava, and Dalton; 2 brothers, Mike 
21(the late Cheryl) Sanders and Thomas (Mary) Sanders; a sister,

1Georgie (the late Jack) Gritzuk; a son-in-law, Louie (the late 
2Debra) Huff; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert "Bob" L. 
6Sanders; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Robert Sanders as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
