SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Norbert J. Gravel of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on October 10, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel was born on September 28, 1947 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Norbert and Julianne Gravel; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel retired from Yellow Freight after 
8many years of service; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel served his country as a member of 
10the United States Army Reserve; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel was preceded in death by his 
12parents; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel is survived by 3 children, Joyce 
14(Mark), Joe (Linda), and Julia; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Brad, 
15and Kaylee; a brother, Donald (Barbara) Gravel; 2 nephews, 
16Donald Gravel and Keith Gravel; and a niece, Michelle Donnelly; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Norbert J. Gravel; and 
2be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Norbert Gravel as an expression of
