SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Mary F. Curtin of Alton, who passed away 
4on November 1, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Curtin was born on November 24, 1936 in 
6Alton; her parents were Frank and Alice Ruth (nee Honeyman) 
7Lind; she married John Phillip "Phil" Curtin on November 23, 
81957 in Munich, Germany; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Curtin enjoyed golfing, bowling, writing, 
10drawing, painting, and taking scenic drives down the Great 
11River Road; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Curtin was preceded in death by her husband; 
13her parents; a brother, John Lind; and a sister-in-law, Sharon 
14Lind; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Curtin is survived by a son, Perry (Denese) 
16Curtin; a daughter, Polly Curtin; 5 grandchildren, Michael 
17Jewell, Malkayla (Jesse Spears), Nathaniel Curtin, Lucas 
18Henry, and Livia Neal; 2 sisters, Jane (Neal) Schwartzkopf and 
19Pat (Rich) Gvillo; and a sister-in-law, Lila Lind; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary F. Curtin; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Mary Curtin as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
