SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Susanne M. Riley of McHenry, who passed 
4away on October 5, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Susanne Riley was born in Chicago on June 29, 1945 
6to George and Lunna Mae (nee Goll) Schauer; she married John 
7Riley on September 2, 1967 at St. Alexander Catholic Church in 
8Villa Park; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Susanne Riley worked as a financial advisor for 
10Wells Fargo for 17 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Susanne Riley enjoyed cooking, quilting, 
12exercising at the gym, taking trips to Door County, and 
13spending winters in Florida; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Susanne Riley was preceded in death by her parents 
15and a brother, George Schauer; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Susanne Riley is survived by her husband, John; 
17her children, Carol (Patrick) Scholl and John Riley; her 
18grandchildren, Amanda (Chase) McNitt, Robert Scholl, Thomas 
19(Tina) Scholl, Luke Scholl, Sara (Tyler) Davis, Jack, Rachel, 
20Olivia, Josie, James, Frank and Sam Scholl, and Patrick and

1Michael Riley; and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Toby 
2Scholl; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Susanne M. Riley, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Susanne Riley as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
