SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Rosemary "Toots" Liebert of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on October 14, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rosemary Liebert was born on December 18, 1939 in 
6Waukegan; her parents were Mary (nee Ogrin) and Delford 
7VanHoogen; she married Robert H. Liebert, Jr. on June 29, 1957 
8at Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Rosemary Liebert attended Mother of God Grade 
10School and Waukegan High School; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Rosemary Liebert was a devoted homemaker, wife, 
12mother, grandmother, and a babysitter for family and friends; 
13she also served on the Spaulding School PTO from 1968 to 1975; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Rosemary Liebert was preceded in death by her 
16parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Rosemary Liebert is survived by her husband, 
18Robert; 4 children, Bobby (Karen) Liebert, Penny Latona, Allen 
19(Jennifer) Liebert, and Jim (Lori) Liebert; 4 grandchildren, 
20Stefanie Klaetsch, Haley Latona, and Jacob and Emily Liebert; a

1sister, Theresa (Ed) Shebenik; 2 brothers, John (Sue) and Donny 
2(Kim) VanHoogen; her many nieces and nephews; and her dear 
3friend, Yvonne Willms; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Rosemary "Toots" 
7Liebert; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Rosemary Liebert as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
