SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John H. Kelly, Jr. of Woodstock who 
4passed away on November 11, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Kelly, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, 
6Pennsylvania on March 5, 1958 to John H., Sr.  and Joyce Kelly; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, John Kelly, Jr. worked as a plumbing inspector for 
9McHenry County and the City of Marengo; he also owned Kelly's 
10Plumbing and was known as the "singing plumber"; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, John Kelly, Jr. was always funny and generous to 
12those around him; he was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan and 
13would only accept a pizza if it was pie-cut; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, John Kelly, Jr. was preceded in death by his 
15father and his cousin, Jerry; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, John Kelly, Jr. is survived by his children, Tara 
17(Marc) Melilli, Caitlynn Kelly, Colin Kelly, and Maggie Kelly; 
18his mother; his partner, Cindy Magee, and her children, Emily, 
19Joe, and Marissa; and his siblings, Joanne Kelly and Karen 
20Woodson; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3John H. Kelly, Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  John Kelly, Jr. as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
