| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Jerome F. Dunne of Oak Park, who passed |
| 4 | | away on September 16, 2014; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was born on October 19, 1933 in |
| 6 | | Berwyn; his parents were Robert and Mary Dunne; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was a graduate of Ascension Catholic |
| 8 | | School, Fenwick High School, and Loyola University, where he |
| 9 | | earned a degree in accounting and business; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne served his country as a member of the |
| 11 | | United States Army; he was stationed in Alaska in the 1950s; |
| 12 | | and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne worked for the Sanford Ink Company |
| 14 | | for many years until his retirement in 1994; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was known as the world's biggest |
| 16 | | White Sox fan; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was preceded in death by his parents |
| 18 | | and 3 siblings, Dolores, Robert (Jane), and Paul Dunne; and
