| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Mary Ruth Hurley Cullicott of River |
| 4 | | Forest, who passed away on September 3, 2014; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ruth Cullicott was born on August 31, 1911 in |
| 6 | | Oak Park; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ruth Cullicott was a graduate of Ascension |
| 8 | | Elementary School, Trinity High School, and Rosary College of |
| 9 | | Arts and Sciences; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her life, Mary Ruth Cullicott served |
| 11 | | her church and community; she was an active member of St. Luke |
| 12 | | Parish in River Forest for 43 years; she donated her time and |
| 13 | | energy to Oak Park Hospital, where she was the longest-serving |
| 14 | | volunteer for 45 years, and was involved in Misericordia, |
| 15 | | Trinity High School, and the Oak Park and River Forest Infant |
| 16 | | Welfare Society; in recent years, she spent her time knitting |
| 17 | | scarves, lap blankets, and baby blankets for the homeless and |
| 18 | | various other charities; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ruth Cullicott was preceded in death by a |
| 20 | | daughter, Ann (Larry) Martin; her first husband, Neil C. |
| 21 | | Hurley; and her second husband, George E. Cullicott; and
