Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning construction of the Code.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	305 ILCS 5/1-5

	Adds reference to:
	305 ILCS 5/5-5.12	from Ch. 23, par. 5-5.12

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that on or after July 1, 2016, drugs which are prescribed to residents of a nursing home shall not be subject to prior approval as a result of the 4-prescription limit. Effective July 1, 2016.
