AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 119 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 119 as follows:


 
3on page 1, lines 4 and 5, by replacing "Sections 10-20.9a and" 
4with "Section"; and
 
5on page 1, line 5, by replacing "Sections 10-20.56 and" with 
6"Section"; and
 
7by deleting line 7 on page 1 through line 17 on page 3; and
 
8on page 6, line 12, after "or", by inserting ", in a school 
9district organized under Article 34 of this Code,"; and
 
10on page 8, by replacing lines 7 through 12 with the following:

11"consideration the relevant data and evidence gathered during 
12the Response to Intervention process. The committee may vote to 
13overturn a retention decision if the committee determines that
