13 | | high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate plus |
14 | | 2 years' experience in providing
mental health services; a |
15 | | recovery support specialist certificate from, and in good |
16 | | standing with, the
Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse |
17 | | Professional Certification Association, Inc.; a family |
18 | | partnership
professional certificate from, and in good |
19 | | standing with, the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse

20 | | Professional Certification Association, Inc.; an occupational |
21 | | therapy assistant license under the
Illinois Occupational |
22 | | Therapy Practice Act with at least one year of experience in a
|
23 | | mental health setting; or a minimum of a high school diploma or |
24 | | high school equivalency certificate and 5 years' supervised |

1 | | clinical
experience in mental health or human services. A |
2 | | supervised internship in a mental health setting
counts toward |
3 | | the experience in providing mental health services. An |
4 | | individual meeting the
minimum credentials for a Licensed |
5 | | Practitioner of the Healing Arts or Qualified Mental Health |
6 | | Professional as defined by the Department of Human Services, by |
7 | | rule, is deemed to also meet the credentialing
requirements of |
8 | | a mental health professional. Any individual employed as a |
9 | | mental health professional before July 1, 2013 may continue to

10 | | be so designated unless employment changes. ".
