| 1 | | AN ACT concerning local government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act |
| 5 | | is amended by changing Section 11.15 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (70 ILCS 2605/11.15) (from Ch. 42, par. 331.15)

| 7 | | Sec. 11.15.
No person shall be employed upon contracts for |
| 8 | | work to be done
by any such sanitary district unless he or she |
| 9 | | is a citizen of the United States, a national of the United |
| 10 | | States under Section 1401 of Title 8 of the United States Code, |
| 11 | | an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence under |
| 12 | | Section 1101 of Title 8 of the United States Code, or an |
| 13 | | individual who has been granted asylum under Section 1158 of |
| 14 | | Title 8 of the United States Code, or an individual who is |
| 15 | | otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States.
