| 1 | | AN ACT concerning education.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. If and only if House Bill 4025 of the 99th |
| 5 | | General Assembly, as enrolled, becomes law, then House Bill |
| 6 | | 4025 of the 99th General Assembly is amended by replacing line |
| 7 | | 19 on page 4 with the following:
|
| 8 | | "of history of the United States and American government and, |
| 9 | | beginning with pupils entering the 9th grade in the 2016-2017 |
| 10 | | school year and each school year thereafter,"; and
|
| 11 | | immediately below line 4, on page 6, by inserting the |
| 12 | | following:
|
| 13 | | "(09900HB4025enr, Sec. 99 new) |
| 14 | | Sec. 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, |
| 15 | | 2016.".

| 16 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 17 | | becoming law. |
