2 | | that institution: |
3 | | (1) Medical Assisting. |
4 | | (2) Medical Coding. |
5 | | (3) Dental Assisting. |
6 | | (4) HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). |
7 | | (5) Welding. |
8 | | (6) Pharmacy Technician. |
9 | | The program must, at a minimum, be a 9-month program and use a |
10 | | credit-hour system. |
11 | | Section 15. Board approval. The Board may approve an |
12 | | institution as an institution from which credits may be |
13 | | transferred under Section 10 of this Act if all of the |
14 | | following conditions are met: |
15 | | (1) The institution has submitted all proper |
16 | | documentation that the Board requests. |
17 | | (2) The institution has paid a fee to the Board, in an |
18 | | amount as determined by Board rule. |
19 | | (3) The institution has successfully completed a full |
20 | | term of national accreditation without probation, a |
21 | | warning, or the denial of a substantive change in an |
22 | | application, without being denied accreditation, or |
23 | | without withdrawing an application and has completed all of |
24 | | the necessary requirements to be approved by the Board |
25 | | under the Private Business and Vocational Schools Act of |

2 | | (4) The Board has verified the institution's good |
3 | | standing during the period of its national accreditation. |
4 | | Credit transfers from the institution may be made only |
5 | | during the verified accreditation period. An institution |
6 | | that is under review due to probation, a warning, or the |
7 | | denial of a substantive change in an application, that is |
8 | | denied accreditation, or that withdraws an application for |
9 | | national accreditation may not be approved under this |
10 | | Section. |
11 | | Section 90. Rulemaking. The Board shall adopt any rules |
12 | | necessary to carry out its responsibilities under this Act.".
