AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1422

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1422 as follows:

by replacing line 9 on page 10 with "employed by a private security contractor, private detective, or private alarm contractor an agency licensed certified by the Department of"; and

on page 10, line 22, after "licensed", by inserting "private security contractor, private detective, or private alarm contractor"; and

on page 11, by replacing lines 6 through 8 with "alarm contractor, or employee of the licensed private security contractor, private detective, or private alarm contractor agency at all times when he or she is in possession of a concealable weapon permitted by his or her firearm control card."; and

on page 11, lines 15 and 16, by replacing "of at least 5 persons" with "of at least 5 persons"; and

on page 12, line 9, after "weapon", by inserting "permitted by his or her firearm control card"; and

on page 12, line 15, after "institution", by inserting "as security guards"; and

on page 12, by replacing line 21 with "institution, and who, as a security guard, is a member of a security force registered with the Department; provided that any person so employed has"; and

on page 13, by replacing lines 10 through 12 with "Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004. The Such firearm control card shall be carried by the security guard person so trained at all times when he or she such person is in possession of a concealable weapon permitted by his or her firearm control card."; and

by replacing lines 16 through 18 on page 13 with:

"(9) (Blank) Any person employed by an armored car company to drive an armored car, while actually engaged in the performance of his duties.".
